Part 107 registration basics
- Register each aircraft used under Part 107 individually in FAA DroneZone.
- The current fee is generally $5 per aircraft for a three-year registration period.
- Display the registration number on an external surface as required.
- Carry access to the registration certificate during operation.
- Update or cancel records when ownership or aircraft status changes.
Remote ID paths

Preflight Remote ID check
Do not use a recreational registration as a shortcut for Part 107 aircraft. The registration category must match the operation, and Part 107 aircraft are registered individually.
