Protect the AKTR
Keep the paper and a secure scan. Confirm name, FTN, score, test date, and exam ID.
Log into IACRA
Start the Remote Pilot application and select the knowledge-test path.
Enter the test information
Use the AKTR exactly. Review identity and certificate fields before signing electronically.
Wait for processing and TSA vetting
Monitor IACRA. The temporary certificate generally appears after successful processing, before the permanent card.
Build the legal operating stack
- Register each Part 107 aircraft in FAA DroneZone.
- Enter the standard Remote ID or broadcast-module serial correctly.
- Mark the aircraft with the registration number.
- Complete recurrent training on time.
- Obtain controlled-airspace authorization when required.
- Use waivers only for approved deviations and comply with every condition.
- Check property access, privacy, local restrictions, insurance, and client requirements.
Save a professional record set
Keep the certificate, temporary certificate, recurrent course records, registrations, Remote ID information, insurance, aircraft maintenance, battery history, flight logs, authorizations, waivers, incident records, and client permissions.
